It liberates us from the prison of self-preoccupation.\u201d&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And so this Thanksgiving, let us be honest with ourselves. Let us ask\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Where am I unable to see life as a gift?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>What has gotten in the way?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Where am I (knowingly or unknowingly) preoccupied with self?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>A wise person is known for their gratitude.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>A wise person is generous in their expression of gratitude.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>A wise person knows a simultaneously felt emotion need not be cause to omit gratitude.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s that short.
