Every now and then, the Intramuralist semi-gracefully stumbles upon a truth which is so counter-cultural \u2014 an ideal or behavior that seemingly opposes all prudence.\u00a0 In other words, there exist areas of wisdom that the world completely fails to comprehend…\u00a0 where society thinks one way…\u00a0often fairly adamantly…\u00a0often obliviously…\u00a0often, unfortunately, at its own peril.<\/p>\n

Lately, the Intramuralist has been observing society\u2019s reaction toward suffering.\u00a0 Let\u2019s face it; there\u2019s been a lot of \u201cbad stuff\u201d happening…<\/p>\n

… people out of work… government bickering… Sandy Hook… Hurricane Sandy…<\/p>\n
… death… divorce… distance between friends…<\/p>\n
… not enough money… not enough time… sickness…<\/p>\n
… sick children… fighting… debt… more debt…<\/p>\n
… friends losing houses… families losing jobs… neighbors not knowing how to put food on the table each night…<\/p>\n

Trials and temptations, negative circumstances, scenarios which are simply incredibly difficult to endure.\u00a0 There\u2019s been a lot of \u201cbad stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
