It\u2019s hard to pay attention to the news for multiple reasons. Sometimes it\u2019s just depressing. Often it\u2019s so focused on the gross, sensational and insensitive. And the unfortunate reality is that we can\u2019t fully trust all we read and hear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk (a moment that may serve as the next \u201cwhere were you when question\u201d \u2014 i.e. where were you when the Space Shuttle exploded?\u2026 where were you when you heard the plane struck the first tower? \u2026 where were you when you heard Princess Diana died?), <\/em>but since that time, we\u2019ve been watching what the media has had to say and how they characterize what occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some has been inaccurate. For example, Charlie Kirk wasn\u2019t a saint. He would be the first to say so. No need to call him that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some has been in poor taste. For example, Charlie Kirk wasn\u2019t uneducated or ignorant.
