As has long been a tradition of the Intramuralist, every now and then I enjoy taking a quick glance at the nation’s headlines, just to get a pulse on what people are talking about. Also, of course, I enjoy the insightful questions embedded in those headlines.<\/p>\n

(Remember: the question mark is the only punctuation piece that actually invites a response.)<\/em><\/p>\n

Nonetheless, while on spring break, the following questions \u2014 which themselves served as actual headlines \u2014 got my attention:<\/p>\n

“Whose Luck Runs Out in Final Four?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“What If George W. Bush Spied on Obama in 2008?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Is Obamacare a Lifesaver?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Why Can’t Politicians Work Together?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“When Is It OK for Democrats to Work with Trump?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“What Do Republicans Do Now?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Is Russia America’s Enemy?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“What’s Next for Gold, the Dollar, and the Stock Market?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Think Tax Reform Will Be Easy for Trump?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Does Believing in God Make You a Better American?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Why Is Water Sacred to Native Americans?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“If Gorsuch Can\u2019t Be Confirmed, Who Can?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Why Are Baseball Games So Darn Long?”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Is a Secular America a Worse America?”<\/em><\/p>\n

(… and perhaps my favorite\u00a0\u2014 at least in the non-polarizing category…)<\/em><\/p>\n

“Dancing With the Stars: Who Will Win Season 24?”<\/em><\/p>\n

Let me always offer the freedom\u00a0not<\/strong> <\/em>to answer the questions; some questions, in fact,\u00a0are impossible to answer. Some questions I simply don’t like.<\/p>\n

But almost always, the asking and\u00a0entertaining of a\u00a0question is key to further understanding. Further understanding would be wise for us all…<\/p>\n
