Truths…<\/em> we don’t question these… this is reality… always accurate and in play…<\/p>\n Self-evident..<\/em>. it’s obvious… it doesn’t have to be nor should have to be explained… to any…<\/p>\n All\u2026<\/i> all people\u2026 men and women, it would now say\u2026<\/p>\n Are created equal\u2026<\/i> regardless of who you are, what you look like, color or creed, gender, generation, ethnicity, intellect, or faith\u2026 whether you\u2019re a Democrat or Republican\u2026 voted for Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, or none of the above\u2026 equal,<\/i> it says\u2026 not better\u2026 not worse\u2026 no superiority\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Endowed by their Creator\u2026<\/i> acknowledging God and him having an active role in our existence\u2026 he is an active God, giving us something\u2026 endowing\u2026 shows we recognize that not only do we not have life all figured out, but we aren\u2019t even capable\u2026 it\u2019s a \u201cGod thing\u201d \u2014 not a \u2018me\u2019 or \u2018we\u2019 thing\u2026 we leave God out sometimes\u2026 often, maybe\u2026 seems we\u2019re missing something\u2026 really important\u2026<\/p>\n Unalienable Rights\u2026 <\/i>what are those?\u2026 something that can\u2019t be sold or transferred or taken away, I\u2019m told\u2026 something permanent \u2014 with us\/for us always here on Earth\u2026 and God is declared the giver of those\u2026 not man\u2026 not government\u2026 man and government are not to be equated with God\u2026 they can\u2019t\u2026 they aren\u2019t the same\u2026<\/p>\n Among these are Life\u2026<\/i> Ah, I see now why we squabble\u2026 so many issues with so many angles in regard to what this looks like\u2026 what does the unalienable right to Life look like, especially when considering an infant, a criminal, or one at war\u2026 not arguing\u2026 just asking\u2026 desiring dialogue, always\u2026 wish we all asked and listened more than ranted and raved\u2026 we could learn so much if we listened better \u2014 tolerated, even considered varied perspective\u2026<\/p>\n Liberty\u2026<\/i> Oh, let freedom ring!\u2026 maybe this is what\u2019s hardest for us\u2026 Liberty is an unalienable Right\u2026 and it feels so good!! \u2026 but what happens when your freedom encroaches upon my freedom?\u2026 but what if it doesn\u2019t\u2026 what if it really doesn\u2019t\u2026 what if someone else\u2019s Liberty doesn\u2019t really obstruct or impede\u2026 what if the real issue is that I want you to think like me\u2026 I want the rights of others to align with me being the one who thinks rightly\u2026<\/p>\n And the pursuit of Happiness\u2026 <\/i>isn\u2019t this an individual thing? \u2026 do I need everyone to think like me and embrace what I believe and accept how I behave in order for me to be happy?\u2026 seems like we can be pretty blindly selfish at times\u2026 yes, me included\u2026<\/p>\n Thinking maybe there is something we can still learn here, even though it was 242 years ago\u2026<\/p>\n \u201cThe Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled,\u201d concluded that day\u2026<\/p>\n \u201c\u2026 support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.\u201d<\/p>\n A recognition of the divine, Providence, a commitment to one another, our fortunes, and honor\u2026<\/p>\n \u2026 learning how to honor one another\u2026<\/p>\n Still taking notes\u2026.<\/p>\n Respectfully on the 4th of July\u2026<\/p>\n AR<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Declared in Congress, July 4th, 242 years ago today: \u201c\u2026 We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness\u2026\u201d Taking notes\u2026 Truths… we don’t question these… this is reality… … <\/p>\n
