In fact, even in sadness and sorrow, we can still be thankful to the great big God of the universe. It\u2019s profoundly amazing\u00a0\u2014 even \u00a0in those times of sadness and sorrow <i>\u2014<\/i>\u00a0how the intentional expression of thanks positively impacts our entire health and well-being.<\/p>\n<p>What are you thankful for?\u00a0<i>(&#8230; a small compilation of your gratitude \u2014 edited for the purposes of conciseness\u2026)<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for my family and friends.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful that there is breath in my body for another day.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for my my job.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for a few days off work.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for the Hallmark channel and all the sappy movies.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful the election is over and there are no more political ads! (At least for a while.)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for the opportunity to serve others in disaster recovery! <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for our veterans.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful to be cool. (Thanks, Josh.)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I&#8217;m thankful for trees that are green in the summer, with red, orange, and yellow in the fall, and snow covered or icy in the winter and beautiful flowers in the spring. I love how God uses his creativity to make the world we live in so beautiful!<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for my church.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for my \u2018hood.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for coffee and wine. Sometimes more wine.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for a good book.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful my cancer is gone!<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for snow.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for no snow.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I&#8217;m thankful that God\u00a0knew we would need a plan of redemption that Jesus was willing to fulfill.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs!<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful to be getting married in less than 2 weeks!<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful the Halloween candy is gone!<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful my kids are home.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for the Ronald McDonald House.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for my animals.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for planes, trains, and automobiles that help us get where we need to go.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for a renewed understanding of community.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful for Game Day!<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I\u2019m thankful that even through the hard stuff, God showed me things.
